The 2016 Spring Fashion Trends

My Favorite 2016 Spring Fashion Trends
SOLID STRIPES
The stripe story for spring is all about coloring between the lines, indeed. Bold, layered shades in red and navy lend even more interest to this graphic tale.
SPANISH INFLUENCES
Every season has a story, and this spring emphasizes a place and time that for most designers the Euro country of favor was decidedly Spain. Flamenco ruffles, off-the-shoulder details and shocks of red have us dreaming of Barcelona in the spring.
IN SEQUINS
All the glimmers isn't necessary gold. The sparkle of choice for spring is unabashedly blingy paillettes built to light up the night.
BOMB SQUAD
Your light spring jacket is going to be the bomb. Cropped, voluminous styles lend a sporting vibe to everything from dresses to leather trousers and hot pants.
THE NEW ROMANTICS
Whoever said romance is dead has not yet perused the latest catwalks. Feathers, ruffles, pastels, cream, chiffon and sheer details add up to the sort of earnestly pretty frocks that make even the most cynical fashion girl swoon.
PETAL PUSHERS
The floral story for spring rings in somewhere between demure, ultra-feminine and even ironic. Think ladylike frocks with English garden patterns and Victorian ruffles, sheer black florals and edgy grunge prints.
FRINGED BENEFITS
Fringe has been trending for a few seasons now, and after seeing it on so many runways this spring it is clear the swingy trim is here to stay. I love it best on shoes and handbags, but for the bolder fashionista add it in to your wardrobe with a skirt or jacket.
THE HALF MOON BAG
Watch out buckets, there’s a new shape that’s about to take the fashion world by storm. Designers that made the bucket bag a thing have all turned their sights towards the half-moon shape.
